Welcome to my current favorite songs of the week. Every week or so I introduce you to my current songs I love. Some are new, some are a throwback, but one thing is for sure, they are rocking my world!
The Ting Tings- That’s Not My Name:
I randomly remembered this song, and I’ve been obsessed. This song is fun, and I feel like if I knew the lyrics, it would be my karaoke song. In the song, I also discovered the name Jolisa which I kind of dig.
Mumford and Sons- The Wolf:
I may have used this song more recently, but the truth is I love this song, it may be my favorite song right now. I used to hardcore hate on Mumford and Sons since I thought their music was too slow and wondered what people did at their concert. I think my music tastes have evolved this year, and now I hope I have the opportunity to find out what goes down at their concert.
Chris Lane: For Her:
This video is super cute and based on a true story! It’s super sweet, and Chris Lane is hot. But the real question is, why do things like this never happen in my life? My dream proposal was always at a concert, but a music video would also be amazing, and I feel like this song has to be their first dance song.
Travis McCoy with Brandon Urie- Keep on keeping on:
Where was I two years ago when this song came out? Not sure, but I missed out. I love this song, and Brandon Urie is one of my favorite musicians but I like this collaboration with Travis McCoy, they make a great team.
Elle King- Good Girls:
I love Elle King; she has a unique voice, and I find it so intriguing she is Rob Schnieders daughter. Good Girls is such a catchy song, and I don’t know how someone hears this song and does not immediately feel happy. This is a rare song where I could listen to it on repeat and still love it!
This song is catchy, and I would say it’s our current family song because my husband, daughter, and I all get it stuck in our head and are always singing it.
Green Day: Wake me up when September ends:
The actual video to this song is sad, but this song is one of my favorite Green Day songs and one I listen to throughout of September. Although, I enjoy September since it’s the month fall starts so I will gladly stay awake through it.
