If you are looking for an easy meal that’s full of flavor, then you have to try my Chicken Teriyaki recipe!
As we’ve been attempting to eliminate sugar from our diet we’ve been using or giving away ingredients in our house, that contains sugar. However, the transition to a sugar-free life has been slow. We seem to have more cheats days than healthy days since there is always some excuse rather it’s a birthday party, a get-together, or laziness. One night I desperately wanted orange chicken from Panda Express but needed an alternative meal and decided to try a Chicken Teriyaki recipe I had from a cookbook.
The great thing about this recipe is it’s easy to make and does not require a lot of ingredients and a lot of the supplies needed are common in most homes.
The downside to this recipe is it contains a lot of sodium. It’s not the healthiest recipe, but it’s delicious, and my family loved it. I paired it with rice and vegetables which made it a little healthier.
I love how the Chicken Teriyaki recipe cooks in the crockpot for about three hours on high, and it tastes amazing. I couldn’t stop eating it since it has great flavor.
For the vegetable stir fry, I added broccoli, carrots, green and red pepper, green onion, garlic, and peanuts, and topped with extra teriyaki sauce.
This meal is simple is now a family favorite. Although, I will need to find an alternative if I make it once we are completely sugar free which will be a fun challenge.
